About TUMCREATE
TUMCREATE is a multidisciplinary research platform of the Technical University Munich (TUM) at the Singapore Campus for Research Excellence and Technological Enterprise (CREATE). We are joining forces with universities, public agencies, and industry for the advancement of future technologies.
Our large-scale Food Science ‘Proteins4Singapore’ program is funded by Singapore’s National Research Foundation (NRF). The Technical University Munich (TUM) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) join forces with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and A*STAR’s Singapore Institute of Food and Biotechnology Innovation (SIFBI) to research plant-based proteins.

Job Purpose/Objective of the Position:
We are a team of researchers working on environmental sustainability in food systems. The goal of this position is to turn scientific insights from the environmental impacts of dietary choices into accessible tools that promote sustainable behavior. To support this mission, we are developing an educational game that uses real-world data to show how different diets affect the environment. As a Game Development Intern, you will help design and build engaging gameplay experiences that communicate these ideas clearly and effectively. You'll work closely with sustainability and food researchers to create an interactive, meaningful tool that raises public awareness and inspires sustainable choices.
Time commitment:
Minimum 16 hours per week for 3 months and/or full-time internship for 3 months. The internship starts from August 2025 onwards.
