About the event
Clean electricity by renewable power generation has been gaining focus in Southeast Asia over the past few years.
Cross-border electricity trade offers potential benefits to all ASEAN countries: Access to cost-effective renewable energy sources, balancing of fluctuating demand and supply, and hence cost reductions by a potential integrated energy market.
The main topics of the event are possible options to cover the increasing power demand in Southeast Asia cost-effectively with renewables, as well as potential cost reductions by cross-border electricity trade.
